We had an Engineer from Hurco on site recently to carry out the annual service to all our Hurco Machines. All our Machines play a pivotal role in the production of Technical Precision Engineered Machinable Ceramic components.
With our generations of experience in the precision ceramic industry, we have developed some unique techniques and cutters which enable us to machine incredibly fine and intricate tiny components, complementing the more industrial and commercial sized components. Our Engineers have an international reputation for machining to a very high degree of accuracy with a selection of machinable ceramics, for example: MACOR machinable glass ceramic, BNP-2/SHAPAL M/ABN2000, BORON NITRIDE, and PYROPHYLLITE (Aluminium Silicate for high temperature or higher wear applications).
Machinable Ceramics offer a comprehensive range of materials for rapid prototyping which can be achieved by normal machining techniques using Tungsten Carbide Tools. This includes high voltage insulation, high temperature, high and low thermal conductivity and thermal shock.
