Macor

Macor Machinable Glass Ceramic was developed and manufactured by Corning Incorporated.  Being an Official Corning Macor Distributor and supplier for over twenty years  we receive regular deliveries of Macor direct from Corning’s manufacturing plant in France.  Today a further 25 off Macor Maxi-slabs were delivered and these Slabs are approximately 355 x 330 x 57mm Thick. 

However, Macor is also manufactured by Corning in a Slug format Ø76mm x 305mm Long. 

Both versions are kept in stock at Ceramic Substrates and all components, shapes and sizes are machined from either a maxi-slab or a slug.  All relevant paperwork/certificate of conformities for traceability and compliance are readily available.

When you need the performance of a technical ceramic- (high service temperature, electrical resistivity, zero porosity) – and your application demands the ready fabrication of a complicated shape look at Macor.
