ISO 9001:2015 – Machinable Ceramics

During March we underwent our ISO 9001:2015 – UKAS Audit, carried out by SGS United Kingdom Ltd.  ISO 9001:2015 enables continuous improvement of our quality management systems (QMS) and processes, in turn improving the ability of our operations to meet customer requirements and expectations.  We are happy to report that our Audit was a success.

Our CNC Engineers has been kept busy working on various projects using a range of machinable ceramic materials such as Macor, Pyrophyllite, Shapal Hi M Soft, Boron Nitride,  ranging from rods and plates to precision engineered complex components.

The above part is an example of one of the components machined from Macor Machinable Glass Ceramic.  Macor is one of the most versatile and unique technical ceramics available.   When you need the performance of a technical ceramic- (high service temperature, electrical resistivity, zero porosity) – and your application demands the ready fabrication of a complicated shape look at Macor.
