Ceramic Substrates & Components Limited is very pleased to offer the material BNP-2 Machinable Aluminium Nitride as a direct alternative to Shapal M. As you can see from the data sheets Shapal and BNP-2 are almost identical in every way and the only noticeable difference is a slight colour variation may be evident across BNP-2.
Ceramic Substrates offer a bespoke machining service in both materials as well as many other machinable ceramics and we would welcome the opportunity to quote in both Shapal and BNP-2.
Best described as a Machinable Aluminium Nitride BNP-2 compares favourably with other manufacturers versions of like materials and the only noticeable difference is a slight colour variation may be evident across BNP-2.
