Dry
pressings are formed by powder compaction on uniaxial presses. The tooling consists
of a die in the profile shape of your component with a top and bottom punch
with any surface features, spark eroded or ground then polished into faces.
Many shapes and sizes can be produced by this method and it tends to be an extremely economical way of manufacturing.
For much larger components we can also Isostatic Press larger blanks then green
machine.
